Ali Al Nowais
Ali Al Nowais is a young Abu Dhabi entrepreneur building specialist businesses with a focus on creative thinking, clear direction and long-term ambition.
He is the Chairman of EquiGroup, an Abu Dhabi-based parent group bringing together EquiFilms, EquiBrands and EquiSecure, each with its own discipline and identity.
His experience developed through hands-on work at EquiFilms, across creative direction, film and photography production, client relationships and company building.

From production to group direction.
Ali Al Nowais is the Chairman of EquiGroup, an Abu Dhabi-based parent group bringing together EquiFilms, EquiBrands, and EquiSecure. His experience spans creative direction, film and professional photography, production, client relationships, and company building.
His business experience developed through EquiFilms and practical involvement in creative production. That work brought the creative and commercial responsibilities of running a company together: shaping the work, managing production, building client relationships, and developing the business around them.
In September 2025, Creative Lab featured Ali in a success story tracing his progression from a participant in its 2017 Media Camp to a volunteer and, later, an executive leading a production company. The feature provides a public record of that progression through the creative sector.
Today, EquiGroup connects three distinct areas of focus. EquiFilms works across film and photography production. EquiBrands focuses on brand ownership and development, including its ownership and management of MillionsTruth. EquiSecure’s focus is security and operational-resilience planning. Each retains its own identity within the group.
As Chairman, Ali’s focus is the group’s long-term direction and the specialist discipline of its companies. His operating philosophy centres on clarity, discipline, craft, and long-term thinking: keeping each company’s purpose understandable while maintaining a coherent direction for EquiGroup. The intention is to connect different disciplines through shared standards without losing what makes each one distinct.
Alongside his business background, Ali has participated in equestrian sport. The Fédération Équestre Internationale lists him under the name Ali Mohamed Alnowais, athlete 10207552, with recorded jumping participation for the United Arab Emirates. This historical sporting record is available through his official FEI profile.
